Every good dress needs side seam pockets and that’s why I have created this super easy free pattern. Use this little gem to upgrade your favourite tropicalreasearch patterns (and also the competition’s of course) with nifty side seam pockets.
The pocket pattern comes from my #trtshirtunic sewing pattern and works great with all of my dresses. The Aria dress, Puffy dress and of course my new Baby doll dress! But the fun doesn’t stop there – you can use this pattern for jackets or coats as well 😀
With a bit of patience and lots of unpicking – you can even upgrade existing garments by unpicking the side seams so you can attach the pockets. This works best for unlined garments 😀 Happy sewing!
